Mechanix gloves are often used for maintenance related issues. I live in the south, so I do not really use, or both. It could, however, a use for them in the great outdoors in winter in the north and my hands were cold, while their use for long periods.

I'm a good mechanic, and not wearing gloves when using tools from the air. The fact is that I no gloves at all.
I prefer shirts cheap, easy to clean and replace.
Nothing but the hands.
